Saw the Puffettes truck parked along Ward Avenue on Sunday and figured we would check it out.

The chocolate was listed as a best seller so had to try. Besides…it’s CHOCOLATE!

The “little one” is a “snacker” so when he saw this corn snack that he said he had tried before he of course had to have it again. Can you tell that he was kinda happy about that?

Nothing lasted the car ride to our next stop and so I think I can safely say that this unexpected visit was a success.

Combination Mahimahi with grilled garlic ahi. YUM!!!

Since @onotogo has been rained out recently and I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop by one of the many lunch wagons that have opened in the Kapiolani area. The Mobile Chef is on Sheridan street in the parking lot of Secret lounge.

The garlic chicken is tasty but not overwhelming garlicy. The roast pork was good, but I think it was the gravy that made it for me.

LOVED it! Actually ate the WHOLE thing, some claim in the blink of an eye. NOT!

Mel decided on the salmon. Which is good too, but I LOVE their pork chops now!!!

A couple of weeks ago I finally had a chance to visit Wedge Lee’s place, Ono to Go, for lunch. And I did NOT regret tracking him down! Here are some pics from my visit.

If you’ve never been there the driveway looks a little confusing, but if you stick to the right you should be ok.

I ordered two turkey plates. One was for Mel and had stuffing with it. Which she said was REALLY good!

Mine was ordered all rice.

While standing there looking at his specials of the day, I couldn’t resist ordering the bbq shrimp plate too.

That was kind of a mistake because the turkey plate really was more than enough food, but I didn’t regret ordering the shrimp because it was super ONO!

Since that time I’ve been back a couple of times and have not regretted doing so yet! We’ll be there filming our next episode of Hawaii: IRL this week Friday and am hoping to try a few more of his ONO food! Come down and tweetup with us if you get a chance!

You know you are eating in a fine dining establishment when your bacon mushroom and cheese omelet has that little extra “fine” touch to it.

WTH is up with the little melted triangle piece of cheese on the top?!?!

I had the chicken cutlet with gravy which was pretty good.
